A group of 35 EYFS teachers are working together using The Emmanuel Project (Disk1) materials to develop their provision for RE in their schools. For more information contact Tatiana Wilson

If you are interested in joining this project you will need to order a disk from [email protected]; for £75 +£2 post and packaging.

Alternatively, if your school has attended training you can draw on the EYFS Understanding Christianity resources which have the same ideas but these are presented slightly differently.

Here is the content of the training session led by Helen Matter RE Adviser

As resources are developed we will add them under the relevant sections. There are 3 concepts but they are recommended to be taught in a particular order to offer a coherent narrative arc.

1 Why is God important to Christians?
6 How can we care for our wonderful world?

2 Why do Christians perform nativity plays
5 Why is every single person unique and special?

3 How can we help others when they need it?
4 Why do Christians place a cross in an Easter Garden?

Our website is currently experiencing some technical problems. We are trying to address these.
