The Learn Teach Lead Programme works in partnership with national research projects and initiatives to improve the quality of RE teaching and learning in schools. Our current projects include:

Understanding Christianity Planning and Assessment Project – led by Tatiana Wilson and Ed Pawson (Diocese of Exeter)

Early Years Foundation Stage RE – led by Tatiana Wilson

RE-searchers: a Dialogic Approach to Teaching RE – led by Giles Freathy (TES award winner)  with others (University of Exeter)

Improving Self-evaluation in Religious Education using the RE Quality Mark – led by Ed Pawson (Devon LA) and Tatiana Wilson (Exeter Diocese)

Farmington Fellowships – funded opportunities to undertake personal research in Religious Education with tutor support from Dr Karen Walshe (University of Exeter)

The Impact of Worldview in Teaching Religious Education led by Ruth Flanagan (University of Exeter)

Narrative Theology in Religious Education – led by Dr Rob Freathy (University of Exeter)
