Assessment Without Levels in RE Project

Learn Teach Lead RE are working with Dr Barbara Wintersgill to develop an approach to improve the quality of assessment in RE. The papers on this web page are provisional and will be shaped further in discussion with teachers and HLTAs engaged in this project. This is because we believe of teacher’s voice and professional input as key factors in developing effective and sustainable change.To begin your participation in the project, it is advisable to register your interest with us so that we can update you and receive feedback. Please read all the assessment materials published so far on the website. It’s a good idea to start with the power point slides with the notes. There are various tasks and questions on the papers.

We would welcome your feedback, especially in the form of completed planning grids to share with others, or for our comments to you. We also need examples of marked tasks so that we can moderate what schools in all phases and sectors are accepting as Expected Standards and adjust our materials through the year.
